Would k12 online schooling be a good idea for me?

Im having difficulties at my high-school and don't enjoy it at all. This is my second year so I am a sophomore and school is just stressing me out. I think school is making me anxious and nervous. Im losing my friends and don't enjoy it. I like some of my classes and im taking AP and honors classes which I could still do with k12. I am also suffering with depression so I think taking a break from my crazy school would be helpful. My mom has agreed to look for online schools for me my only worries are that it's going to be hard and a lot of work. Of course I can overcome that and I will work hard. But can I just take it for the rest of my sophomore year and return to regular high-school the rest of 11 &12 grade? Im just worried about my well being and really need a break to sort myself out. What do you think?
